Location

Take Interstate I-35 or I-53 to Duluth, Minnesota. Travel on Hwy 61 to Grand Marais, MN (from Duluth to Two Harbors is the Expressway and the North Shore Scenic Drive).

When you come into Grand Marais, you'll come down a long hill. At the base of the hill you will turn left onto the Old Gunflint Trail. When you get to the end of the Old Gunflint Trail(you’ll pass the hospital on your left) you’ll come to the intersection of the Gunflint Trail (Cty Rd 12). Turn left onto the Gunflint Trail (Cty Rd 12) and check your mileage and gauge approximately 27 miles. This will bring you to Clearwater Rd (Cty Rd 66).
