United States Forest Service - Flour Lake Campground is located on the quiet shores of Flour Lake, adjacent to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. The lake offers great fishing for smallmouth bass, walleye, and lake trout. The campground has vault toilets, two solar pumps for drinking water, fire grates, picnic tables and a boat ramp. All outhouses are handicap accessible as well as four sites with handicap accessible fire grates and picnic tables. Sites may be reserved and some are on a first come, first serve basis. Routine patrols are done by the Cook County Sheriff's Department (218-387-3030) and the Concessionaire to insure the campground is secure. Pay-per-use showers, groceries and many other services can be found at Golden Eagle Lodge, less than one mile by road or hiking trail from the campground.
